Hey there – hope you're hungry
So you found this blog however you found it – Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. – and you're probably wondering a little bit about the writer, who likes to write using the "we" form, but is in fact one individual. After so many wordy posts and drawn-out descriptions, it's likely you're craving some hard facts. Here you go.
1. My given name is Margaret, but no one calls me that. It's Maggie to most. Weirdest misspelling of my name? Bargaret. Yep.
2. I live in Colorado but was raised in the South.
3. I've got a thing for mountains, mountain towns and mountain folk.
4. Bananas, store-bought mayonnaise and pickles (or relish) are about the only things I won't eat.
5. Carnitas, frozen yogurt, peanut butter and oatmeal are things I would eat every day.
6. Sea urchin was the oddest food I've ever eaten.
7. Haggis is the oddest food I've never eaten that I'd like to.
8. During the day, I'm a marketing lady/food writer/doer-of-anything-that-needs-doing at a Denver newspaper.
9. My husband is a preschool teacher/upright bassist.
10. We play in a band together, and yes it's totally cute that we can share passions.
11. I love and hate running equally, but most days I love it a little more than I hate it.
12. I'm really glad you're here on my blog. Enjoy the posts, and if you have suggestions, comments, post ideas – let me know!
xoxo
